1-1½ jars (12-15 oz total) The Gruene Olive Guava Jam (warm slightly)
3 cups all-purpose flour
4 tsp baking powder
½ tsp salt
¼ cup sugar
¼ cup butter, softened
¼ cup shortening
2 eggs, separated
2 tsp vanilla extract
Guava Rosé Sauce:
1 cup sugar
1 cup butter, softened
2 egg whites
2-3 Tbsp The Gruene Olive Guava Rosé Balsamic
1 tsp vanilla extract
Method
Beat butter, shortening, and sugar until light. Beat in egg yolks and vanilla.
Sift flour, baking powder, and salt. Fold into butter mixture.
Divide into 3 balls; chill 30 min.
Roll each ball into 12" rectangle on foil. Spread with Guava Jam. Roll tightly, wrap in foil.
Bake at 350°F for 45 min (or steam). Cool slightly, slice.
Guava Rosé Sauce
Whisk egg whites until foamy.
Cream butter and sugar. Beat in egg whites, vanilla, and Guava Rosé Balsamic until silky.
Drizzle over warm sliced duff.
Serve warm with fresh berries or a drizzle of Persian Lime Olive Oil for extra flair!
